There are now 100 shops and the same process and principles are adhered to: All food is hand made in their kitchens every day. EAT does not buy a single mass-produced sandwich, soup, or salad from any factory - they're all made by EAT kitchen staff by hand. Eat insist on a one-day shelf life for all its food so as to provide maximum freshness and quality.

Although EAT is most certainly not a factory it does share some of the 'manufacturing' charateristics of one. It makes to order and to stock from ingredients it orders in and it needs to be able to control and manage all these dicrete elements of the catering business and for this it uses Sage 200.
