Gavin Day joins the Acuity Team!

Here at Acuity, we are excited to announce that Gavin Day has recently joined the team as our new Sales Executive. 


Q1 Why did you join Acuity?

'I was looking for a new challenge and to work within a company that shares my passion for great customer service and feel that Acuity provides me with this platform and the opportunity to develop customer trust into customer loyalty. I’ve genuinely enjoyed working within progressive companies where my input is both valued and appreciated. Acuity has both the flexibility and the in-built progressive nature to allow this to happen. I’m really looking forward to what the future brings for both Acuity and myself!'

Q2 What will you bring to Acuity?

'I have over 15 years of Sage 200 experience to include a depth of knowledge on associated 3rd party add-ons that enhance the Sage 200 user experience. Whilst I’ve spent the last 5 or so years in Account Management roles, I also hold plenty of experience within the new business arena also. Customers are key to Acuity success and I feel that I hold the required business acumen & common sense approach to a) keep customers happy and b) keep customers!'

Q3 What attracted you to Acuity?

 'Acuity have some brilliant people working within and I was made very welcome by the Leadership Team. The ability to quickly move on latest developments and technologies tells me that Acuity are serious when it comes to making sure that the customer is kept fully abreast on anything new & pertinent to them whilst also understanding that there’s plenty of competition out there who would relish a new business opportunity if given the chance.'

Q4 What are your first month objectives?

 'Whilst I’ll be spending a few days at the Weybridge office to start, I’m looking to hit the ground running and introduce myself to the customer base pretty quickly. There’s some interesting Sage developments that need sharing, so this provides me with the perfect platform to do this whilst also looking to understand customer objectives and advise on how Acuity can assist.'

Q5 What are you currently excited about in your new role?

 'I’m relishing the opportunity to work alongside motivated individuals sharing common aims and goals all based around great customer service and experience!'

Q6 What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

 'I’m a qualified football coach and run a youth football team, which I thoroughly enjoy and coupled with my gym activities, this keep me reasonably fit. I’m also, for my sins, an Ipswich Town FC season ticket holder and if time allows, I do enjoy a round of golf.'
