We are excited to announce that Nick Goode, EVP at Sage X3, Dewey Forrester, EVP Partners & Alliances, & Debbie Wall, Executive Vice President, Sage Foundation, Diversity & Inclusion, will be joining us as our Guest Speakers on the day.
Nick Goode is EVP Sage X3, leading the strategy and execution of the Sage X3 product and business globally. In his 10th year at Sage, Nick previously led the functions of product marketing and product management, interim led marketing for Sage UK and Ireland, was general manager for Sage Business Cloud Accounting (formerly Sage One), and headed up accountants product and marketing. Nick is a passionate supporter of Sage Foundation and everything that Sage stands for in enabling customers and partners to thrive. Nick has four children, lives in Cheshire and is committed to health and fitness.
Dewey Forrester is Executive Vice President, Partners and Alliances, at Sage. Dewey is responsible for the strategy and execution of Sage’s worldwide partner program that drives success and revenue for the partner network. Under his leadership, his team engineers and lands the engagement model with the key Sage commercial leaders and works directly with Sage’s amazing partners across the globe.
Prior to joining Sage, Dewey served as Vice President, Global Alliances, at PROS. His focus was on building and implementing a global co-selling strategy with while accelerating the move to a pure SaaS company. From 2001 to 2014 he served as the Senior Director, Sales and Global Partners, Microsoft Corporation. Here Dewey was responsible for the global enterprise ISV partner program and he held several key sales leadership roles during his tenure. Dewey Forrester received his B.Sc. Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1984. Dewey is married with two children and is a keen musician.
Debbie Wall leads the global programme of corporate philanthropy including diversity and inclusion delivered by Sage. Sage Foundation’s focus is ensuring young people, women and military veterans are work ready, have access to high quality education and are aware of the opportunities surrounding entrepreneurialism.
Debbie especially enjoys the opportunity Sage Foundation has to incubate pilot programmes, with a view to solving social challenges including preparing young people for work in AI (www.joinfuturemakers.com), giving women the chance to return to the work force via the Sage Pathways programme and providing military veterans the tools needed to become successful entrepreneurs via the Military Peter Jones Tycoon Programme.
Sage Foundation’s programme of philanthropy is an integral part of everyday life at Sage, with all 13,000 colleagues globally encouraged to take five paid days a year to support local charities. Partners and customers across all countries also participate in Sage Foundation activity. Thanks to this programme Sage supported 10,000s of people and completed 31,000 days of volunteering globally this year (the equivalent of £4.2 million of financial support for Sage charity partners).
