Robin Mukuka joins the Acuity Team!

Here at Acuity, we are excited to announce that Robin Mukuka has recently joined the team as our new Software Implementation Consultant. I wanted to take the opportunity to hear Robin's views and visions for Acuity.

Q1 Why did you join Acuity?

'After having a discussion with Lee Whelan, CEO, he explained Acuity's objectives and I started seeing how this aligned with my own aspirations. It didn't take long to make up my mind and here I am today as part of the Acuity family.'

Q2 What will you bring to Acuity?

'I hope to share the customer experience that I acquired in my last tenure at Sage, after working directly with end users and also business partners.  I hope to share my excitement around Salesforce, Sage Business Cloud Financials and learn more about other cloud products out there.'

Q3 What attracted you to Acuity?

'The drive behind cloud solutions really got me thinking and I was very interested in what I was told about On-Demand at Acuity.

Also, I follow Acuity's social media where I saw some great pictures of the team in London for a Company meeting and I thought that I wanted to become a part of that.'

Q4 What are your first month objectives?

'My first month’s objective is to get to know the Acuity family and be a team player, even though most of this will happen virtually, I still believe we are going to have fun as we work towards making Acuity great.'

Q5 What are you currently excited about in your new role?

'Working on the Salesforce platform and getting to understand more about other cloud products and how they can all integrated with Sage Business Cloud Financials.'

Q6 What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

'I tried playing soccer and realised I was not the best, so I decided to just be a spectator of soccer instead and most other sports. I'm a big fan of the English Premier League but I will try not to mention my favourite team well for now 😊.

I also do spend a bit of time in the gym. I am thinking about getting into golf (even though it took me quite a lot of misses to hit the ball off the tee), it still seems like a very relaxing sport.'
