Are you outgrowing Sage 50 or Sage 200?

Or, maybe you are using Sage 300 or a legacy solution like Sage 500 or Sage 1000? You could be using another on-premises solution that just isn’t cutting it and and considering moving to the cloud.

Sound familiar? You are not alone.

What’s the next step for you?

When it comes to outgrowing the functionality of mid-market solutions, many organisations like yours experience the same demands on their business and failure in their systems to support change. The frustration for finance leaders currently using Sage is that it is a user-friendly platform, and it has probably done a great job to get you where you are, but your business has grown and you need to move on. What are your options?

Sage Intacct is available in two versions: Sage Intacct and Sage Intacct Starter Edition.

Sage Intacct is the ultimate true-cloud financial management solution, providing full control of the finance function, consolidation of hundreds of entities, multi-currency compatibility, and intuitive configuration to accelerate growth within your business.

Sage Intacct Starter Edition is essentially a smaller-scale version of Sage Intacct, providing businesses with all the core functionalities of Sage Intacct that they require, and consolidation of up to five entities, without the more complex areas of functionality that would otherwise not be used. Due to Starter Edition’s smaller scale, implementation is considerably faster and requires less up-front investment.

Why Sage 50 or Sage 200 users need to upgrade

  • Too much reporting being done in Excel that needs further manipulation wasting time
  • Lack of centralised entity management to support and grow your multi-entity business
  • Remote access isn’t possible or you require expensive remote access servers to be able to access anywhere
  • Using lots of manual workarounds instead of integrating to other applications leading to delays or increased headcount
  • Lack of automation has led to relying on error-prone manual processes putting your business at risk
  • Limited number of users and transactions can cause system failure and crashing
  • No real-time visibility of the whole business in a single system

Why Sage 300 users should consider Sage Intacct

As a Sage customer, you are hopefully already aware that Sage 300 is no longer available for purchase through Sage UK. If you are using the perpetual licence, there will be no further updates or upgrades for existing users, nor the option to purchase additional licenses for those already using Sage 300 from Sage UKI. However, you are able to gain additional licenses from other Sage territories. These changes have already taken effect, as of 31st May 2021. As far as support for Sage 300 users is concerned, direct support from Sage UK will also be withdrawn from 30th September 2022.

You can, of course, opt to continue using Sage 300 and receive support from your existing Sage Partner. However, this does come with risks; as support is only available if you are on the latest versions of Sage 300 through other Sage territories.

Alternatively, you can opt to migrate from Sage 300 to an alternative solution. Businesses looking for increased financial management can opt for Sage Intacct.

Outgrowing QuickBooks?

As a small business you may be using QuickBooks as it’s a well-known and easy to use solution for start-up organisations, but it has it’s limitations only offering basic functionality. So, what happens when your business starts to grow?

QuickBooks simply isn’t designed to scale as you grow, therefore you need to look at manual workarounds, additional plug-in solutions and other creative ways to monitor your business. This can be time consuming and costly.

If you are looking to replace QuickBooks, we recommend considering Sage Intacct. This cloud-based financial management solution is a better way to do business, with easy to use innovative functionality.
