New Features in Sage 200 Standard 2022 R1
General feature updates
- Changes made to lists, such as adding columns, will be remembered for the next time you use the list.
- Documents you have printed can be viewed from the Spooler in PDF format.
Enhancing the latest sales and quotation web screens with more features
Webforms features have been expanded further to include:
- The ability to add an expiry date to all new quotations;
- A new memo tab to record and access insights into customer records;
- Quote status to support follow-up activity (call-back, task, etc);
- Warning notifications for customers in dispute or in arrears to let you know that your quote can be produced but won’t be transferable to a purchase order until issues are resolved;
- The ability to add cross-selling items, suggested items and alternative items to quotations;
- A quotation status of ‘Lost’ for customers that don’t proceed.
Enhance productivity with customised views
Web screens can now be customised to show data and information relevant to your role or task and saved to allow you to pick up from where you left off and improve productivity.
New API Functionality in Sage 200 Standard 2022 R1
New API extensions provide greater choice for ISV Solutions, allowing you to build a truly custom-made solution for your business’ specific needs.
Changes to VAT Submissions in Sage 200 Standard 2022 R1
Making Tax Digital will become mandatory for all VAT registered businesses from April 2022. As a result, XML VAT Submissions will no longer be accepted, and this feature has been deactivated within this latest update.
If you previously used the XML VAT submission feature, you can either move to MTD for VAT, or use the HMRC portal to submit VAT returns manually.
Changes to system requirements in Sage 200 Standard 2022 R1
With the Sage 200 Standard 2022 R1 update, support has been added for:
- Microsoft Windows 11
- Microsoft Office 2021
And support has been removed for:
- Microsoft Windows 7
- Microsoft Office 2013 and 2016
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.
