Why do we get Sage updates?

If you are currently using Sage 200, then you should know that it is Sage’s mid-market ERP system, which is used by companies and corporations across fourteen countries around the world. If you are not using Sage 200 but think your business needs it, get in touch.

Why the need for updates, you ask? Sage is constantly working to improve its products and has a progressive strategy which is constantly evolving. Sage 200 2021 R2 is the latest update, released July 2021, covers two new updates for Sage 200 Standard & Education:

  • API enhancements

New Web Screens

This update brings a whole host of extras to your Sage 200 Standard system, with new forms now available for Stock Control, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Nominal Ledger, Cashbook, Settings, Sales Orders and Maintenance forms.

You can access the web portal from the tools menu in your Sage 200 App or on the go by clicking here.

The new web screens that have been introduced are:

Nominal Ledger

Nominal transaction enquiry
Nominal Account (create/amend/view)
Nominal ledger list

Cashbook

Bank account transaction enquiry
Interbank transfer
Bank account list

Maintenance Forms

Warehouse list
