September 30th marked the end of a very successful financial/business year for Acuity Solutions and a change to the company management.

Despite still being in the midst of a pandemic, over the last 12 months Acuity has seen momentous success and growth achieving these impressive results.

Customer Numbers grew increased by over 25%

Orders up by 34% on previous year

Annual recurring revenue grew by over 30%

In addition, we have re-established ourselves as a London based Sage Business Partner with a new office in the City. We are opening a new office in South Wales in the next few months covering both ends of the M4 corridor expanding our reach.

As of 1st October, we will see changes to the management structure. After 26 years at the helm, Lee Whelan is taking a step back from everyday activities to focus on Acuity’s future direction. Lee will remain part of the business as a shareholder, but now his responsibility will be on the long term strategy and future growth and investments around mergers and acquisitions.

As a result of this change, Stephen Clarke (former Chief Sales & Marketing Officer) has been appointed New Managing Director. He will take responsibility for managing the company’s day-to-day performance and delivery of the current year budgets. Stephen has been with Acuity for almost 5 years, forming part of the Senior Leadership Team, helping the business to become more customer focused and transitioning to a more sustainable recurring business model.

Stephen’s move has allowed Acuity to bring in David Rawling as new Sales & Marketing Director. David’s appointment sees him join the existing Senior Leadership Team which includes Steve Fuller (Chief Operating Officer) and Mark Cohen (Chief Product Officer) as well as Stephen and Lee.

David’s extensive experience and reputation in the world of ERP and business software solutions is highly impressive. Previously Global Director of Product Marketing and Head of Sales at Sage, David has a comprehensive understanding of Sage, its products, and its customers. David’s depth of knowledge in the mid-market ERP space will bring invaluable benefits to both the Acuity team and our customers. We wish David every success in his role with Acuity.
